As an Account Representative a typical day might include the following:
• Provide sales support for assigned territory including activities such as quoting and lead qualification.
• Promote sales and track progress toward sales goals by regularly following up on open quotes, providing input for forecasting, and reporting on sales.
• Support customer visits to develop relationships, deliver and receive pertinent information regarding customer accounts, and at times represent SEL at tradeshows, conferences and events.
• Assist with managing and identifying opportunities to increase sales.
• Provide customer service for assigned customers to support order processing/fulfillment or RMA's, manage and resolve customer feedbacks, and manage NPS/survey responses and resolution.
• Provide administrative and customer service support to management, sales engineers, or outside sales reps for assigned customers.
• Model, teach, and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.
• Understand. Create. Simplify.
• Other duties as assigned.
This job might be for you if:
• You have 3 years of progressively responsible customer service, technical sales, or related experience
• You have a bachelor's degree or related experience
• You have strong computer and business software skills
• You have strong organization and time management skills
• You have the ability to learn concepts and technical details of products. work independently as well as cooperatively in a team environment
• You have the ability to travel up to 15%
• You have strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
• You have the ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
• You have the ability to write and speak English coherently
• You have working knowledge of SEL products and systems
• You have account management experience
• You have database experience
