**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and forward-thinking **Accounting Manager** to lead our accounting functions and contribute to our financial success. This role requires a hands-on approach, with responsibilities spanning month-end/year-end close, financial reporting, budgeting, and more. Ideal candidates will bring a strong foundation in GAAP and prior experience in consumer goods, retail, or wholesale industries.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Manage and execute month-end and year-end close processes independently.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports to provide actionable insights.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Collaborate with external CPAs for tax preparation and audit support.
• Leverage advanced Excel and ERP systems to streamline accounting processes.
• Provide guidance and support in inventory accounting and cost analysis.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and maintain financial integrity.
• Present financial findings and reports to management with clarity and confidence.

**Requirements:**

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience as an Accounting Manager or higher-level position.
• Proven experience in consumer goods, retail, or wholesale industries.
• Strong expertise in month-end/year-end close and general ledger accounting.
• Proficient in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with widely used ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP preferred).
• Solid understanding of GAAP principles and standards.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

• Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems like Oracle or SAP.
• Exposure to inventory management
• MBA or CPA
