Overview: Horizon Farm Credit seeks an Accounting Specialist to join our team. The qualified candidate may work in the Westminster, MD or Mechanicsburg, PA branch locations. The hours of operation are typically, Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule after 6 months of successful employment. This is a great opportunity to make a difference in agriculture and rural communities.
In this role, you'll handle a variety of administrative tasks and accounting responsibilities, including: supporting cash management, processing Accounts Payable, fixed asset management, journal entry preparation, and reconciliations. You'll ensure transactions are accurately and promptly posted to various systems and take on additional duties as needed.
