The role includes managing the full cycle of accounts payable, reconciling statements, resolving payment issues, and supporting the month-end close process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process invoices, expense reports, and payment requests in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Ensure all invoices and expenses comply with company policies and have proper approvals.
  • Perform three-way matching for purchase orders, receipts, and invoices.
  • Review and verify vendor account details, including resolving discrepancies and maintaining accurate vendor records.
  • Reconcile accounts payable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and posted correctly.
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
  • Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments and address any outstanding balances or issues with vendors.
  • Assist in the month-end closing process, including preparing accruals and reports.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records for audit purposes and assist with audit requests.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to vendor and internal inquiries promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate with the finance team and other departments to improve accounts payable processes.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in an accounts payable or similar finance role.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, NetSuite).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.).
