Posting Summary:Provide leadership to the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) faculty, staff, and students on issues pertaining to belonging, inclusion, and equity. Provide expertise, consultation, and recommendations as part of College's executive leadership team on confidential, organizational, personnel (faculty, staff, students), budgetary, and curricular decisions to ensure diversity, equity and inclusion policies and practices are implemented. Galvanize and direct strategic program development and metrics to align with the College's mission to support the goals of diversity and inclusion as set forth by the College's Inclusive Excellence Plan. Develop student, faculty, and staff training on DEI. Assist in leading recruitment of faculty, staff, and students from historically underrepresented backgrounds. Provide leadership and support to faculty on diversity related curriculum and program development and to staff on their development and success. This position reports directly to the Dean.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience):Master's or other advanced degree in a field pertinent to diversity, human resources, or higher education and four years of experience to include student affairs required. Effective organizational, planning, interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to interact with a wide range of groups including student, faculty and staff.
Anticipated Pay Range:$70,000 to $85,000
