PRESS ASSISTANT OPERATOR

DESCRIPTION:

This is a 12-hour rotating night shift position working 7am to 7pm. The Press Assistant Operator assists the Press Operator in the operations of the air graders, forming station, and press line.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitors the continuous production of product through the air graders, forming line and press.
• Monitors raw board quality
• Communicates with Press Operators to maintain stable and consistent production
• Identifies process variation, determines the source, and works to eliminate it
• Performs press / forming line housekeeping activities
• Performs basic maintenance related tasks
• Assists maintenance personnel in performing technical work
• Performs other related duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Requires 1 or more years in a manufacturing environment

COMPETENCIES:

• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Requires good listening skills
• Requires good data analysis and interpretation skills
