Job Description:


Budget Title: Staff Associate (SL-4)


Salary: $85,000 - $87,000


As the Associate Director of Workforce Credentialing, the candidate will assist with the design, implementation, and management of workforce development programs that align with industry trends and organizational goals.


Responsibilities include:


  • Assist in developing and executing activities for the Office of Workforce Development.
  • Assist with the design, implementation and evaluations of effective training and development programs that address workforce needs.
  • Manage registration, monitoring and reporting of microcredentials, badges, and other workforce credentials.
  • Assist with the oversight of revenues, expenses, and business plans for microcredentials, badges, and other workforce credentials.
  • Manage the University's inventory on the eligible training providers list.
  • Provide guidance to faculty and staff proposing new microcredentials, badges, and other workforce credentials.
  • Communicate and enforce University and SUNY policies, regulations, procedures, and operations.
  • Recommend solutions and/or procedures to resolve operational problems.
  • Perform annual record review and retention determination.
  • Perform website updates and maintenance as necessary.
  • Respond to inquiries from and communicate to stakeholders with a consistently professional demeanor and in a timely manner.
  • Professionally and ethically represent the Office of Workforce Development on committee across campus and the University at events, conferences, and meetings.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in academic credentialing, program development, training and development, or a similar field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred:


  • Master's Degree
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience coordinating with faculty and academic departments on curriculum proposals (revisions or new programs) in accordance with university, SUNY and NYSED guidelines
