Basic Job Functions:
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to leading the maintenance and production teams by:
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Two or four-year technical degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or engineering discipline with major computer technology content
- Three years of process control software development experience
- Understanding of mechanical and electrical processes in the steel industry and steel plant processes
- Working knowledge and experience with various PLC systems (Siemens, ABB, etc.)
