Position type: Full-Time - Contract-to-Hire
Duration: 6+ months
Location: Franklin, TN
As an AV Tech you will:
AV Tech LVL 3-4 in Nashville levels 3-4.
The office location is: 331 Premier Ct # 100, Franklin, TN 37067
However, daily work will be at the client site of whatever the current project is in the local area.
Pay range 28-35hr depending on level. If someone is over the rate, please still send them over

The Installation Technician performs installation tasks for audio visual projects including but not limited to: pulling cable, installing connectors, mounting projects, etc.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Perform installation tasks for audio visual projects including but not limited to: pulling cable, installing connectors, mounting projects and metal fabrication
• Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints
• Use hand and power tools to solder and crimp connectors along with various other AV systems related tasks
• Assist with basic mechanical fabrication and basic rack wiring
• Projector and screen support structure installations
• Test point to point functionality of systems
• Field installation of control programs (AMX/Crestron) - upload and download capability
• Make minor programming changes under the direction of an engineer or programmer
• Provide site supervisor of install team with direction from the Project Manager
• Perform client training as needed
• Customer liaison in absence of Project Manager
• Responsible for job documentation as needed
• Demonstrate job site leadership
• Travel to various job sites required
Other duties assigned as needed
Skills and Abilities
• Effectively communicate with employees, customers and colleagues
• Ability to use hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner
• Ability to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlines
• Basic computer knowledge
• Knowledge of basic signal flow for audio, video and control
• Ability to manage small to medium projects
• Minor programming capability (AMX/Creston) - changes and troubleshooting
Education and/or Experience
• Minimum of 1-3 years of audiovisual installation experience preferred
• Formal education in Electronics or related field preferred
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
The ideal candidate will have: 1-3+ years of applicable experience

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
