Summary

This is a temporary, entry-level position requiring the employee to perform a wide variety of credit and customer service functions for the accounting department. Position is projected to last approximately 12 to 16 months.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Job Description Summary

  • Position will interact with dispatch, sales, and billing to resolve customer issues as they may arise.
  • Position will require the employee to research accounts with disputes and make the appropriate adjustments.
  • Prepare ticketed material sales for invoicing.
  • Must perform customer service, research and correct any inaccurate invoicing.
  • Maintenance of files and catalogs, faxing, payment identification, and mailing.
  • Other duties as assigned per supervisor.

Education and/or Experience
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. One to two years related experience and/or a combination of both.
Language Skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence

Mathematical Skills
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Computer Skills
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should be able to type and use keyboards accurately and have knowledge of Database software internet software; Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
