Position Overview

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a dedicated Billing Specialist to join their team in Connecticut. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth processing of vendor payments and managing vendor relations.
Responsibilities

  • Process vendor payments and manage vendor accounts efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the accounts receivable team to ensure timely invoice submission.
  • Utilize Salesforce for managing billing-related tasks and credit memos.
  • Engage in intercompany communications to streamline billing processes.
  • Maintain organized records of all billing activities and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Provide excellent communication to vendors and internal teams, addressing any billing inquiries or issues.
  • Adjust priorities as needed to meet the dynamic demands of the billing department.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
Qualifications
  • Experience in vendor payment processing and vendor management.
  • Prior experience with Salesforce is preferred.
  • Familiarity with credit memos and intercompany communications.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Ability to adjust priorities as needed and stay organized.
  • Self-starter who can manage tasks independently.
Required Work Hours

Monday - Friday, 1st shift

The position offers a competitive hourly rate ranging from $23 to $26.
