Overview
This position is on-site only in West Lebanon, NH; there is no opportunity for remote work.
Responsible for all activities related to procurement of goods from vendors domestic and internationally. Works in conjunction with manufacturing, sales, supply chain, engineering and warehouse teams to ensure timely delivery of items needed and ensuring that quantities meet the needs for demand. Inventory value will be managed to a company set level by evaluating supply and demand, lead times as well as logistics of delivery transit times.
Responsibilities
Researches products, studies market trends, interviews vendors and recommends sources of supply.
Negotiates pricing with vendors.
Prepares purchase orders from selected vendors.
Maintains logistical knowledge of all product shipments inbound both domestically and internationally.
Utilizes Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
Maintain vendor lead times in ERP system (GPD).
Monitor inventory levels with supply chain teams.
Coordinates with entineering and manufacturing on new products.
Develops and maintains necessary records and files for efficient operation.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and/or 4-6 years of experience.
Knowledge of MRP, ERP, GPD & PDM is preferred.
Detail oriented and disciplined.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Must have excellent planning and organizational skills
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
Ability to use hands to manipulate, handle and feel.
Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach within hands and arms length, stoop, kneel and crouch, sitting could be 4+ hours per day.
