RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Cash Apps Accountant in Tampa, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for the accounting and balance sheet reconciliations for various accounting activities, with concentration on Cash applications to customer accounts and PrePaid accounting.Responsibilities:- Participate in assisting with the coordination of the month end close process ensuring timeliness, accuracy and completeness of the close
- Compiling, reconciling, for month end close
- Ensuring financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures
- Responsible for the monthly preparation and maintenance of support of various Balance Sheet reconciliations
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or Business with emphasis in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of experience
- Experience/knowledge of SAP, S4 Hana/ECC; S4 Hana a plus
- Excellent understanding and familiarity with GAAP and the ability to apply these principles in practice
- Strong working knowledge of financial and accounting concepts and practices
- Broad understanding of internal controls
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) with advanced Excel skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead through influence and network
- Willingness to collaboratively challenge the business
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
