GENERAL SUMMARY/ OVERVIEW STATEMENT:
The Johnson Lab is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to join our team of research assistants. Directed by Dr. Keith Johnson, our lab is focused on the use of PET and MR imaging to investigate the molecular pathology of human brain aging and dementing disorders. We develop and validate biomarkers of normal aging and Alzheimer's disease for use in natural history studies and clinical trials to advance public health in the aging population. We are centered at the MGH Main Campus in Boston, MA.
In this role, the CRC will help conduct clinical and administrative aspects of several ongoing research studies, as well as assist with technical components of data processing and analysis as needed. These studies collect and assess clinical, neuropsychological, structural and molecular brain imaging data. The primary responsibilities of this role include interacting with participants of varying age and cognitive status both in-person and over the phone, IRB preparation and maintenance, participant recruitment, and data processing. Other responsibilities may include cognitive testing, visit coordination, operations support, and management of multi-lab collaborations. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational and interpersonal skills who enjoys working in a dynamic clinical research environment.
