Volt is actively looking for a CNC Machinist for a company here in Fresno, Ca.

A CNC machinist primarily focuses on crafting machine parts and tools using precision computer-controlled equipment.

Job Duties:

Setting Up and Operating Precision Equipment:

• CNC machinists configure and fine-tune CNC machines to produce accurate components.
• They ensure that the equipment is calibrated correctly for optimal performance.

Maintaining Precision Equipment:

• Regular maintenance and troubleshooting are essential.
• Machinists keep the machinery in top condition to prevent errors and maintain quality.

Inspecting and Testing Finished Products:

• After production, CNC machinists meticulously examine the completed parts.
• They verify that the products meet all specifications and quality standards.

Creating Programming Documentation:

• Machinists develop programming instructions for the CNC machines.
• These instructions guide the equipment in shaping and cutting materials precisely.

Skills Required
To excel as a CNC machinist, one needs the following skills:

Expertise in Tools:

• Proficiency in operating CNC machines and related tools.
• Understanding of blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.

Mechanical and Technical Aptitude:

• A solid grasp of mechanical principles and technical concepts.

Schedule: 1st shift Monday- Friday

Pay: $25/hr
