Job Description:

The Provost invites applications from tenured faculty members for the position of Collegiate Professor in the Dickinson Community with a July 1, 2025 start date.

What is a Collegiate Professor?

Collegiate Professors work closely with Residential Life staff in their college/community to create activities and programming that make connections between students' living and learning experiences. They are advocates for students and mentors contributing to students' academic success. How each collegiate professor accomplishes this goal varies according to that person's vision for the college/community as developed alongside the staff and students. Collegiate professors report jointly to the assistant vice provost for academic enrichment and the director of Residential Life, and serve for a renewable term of three years. They do not reside in the residential communities. For more on the position, read here.
