Job Title: Commercial Assistant Superintendent

Location: DFW Metroplex
Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 (Base Salary)

Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Assistant Superintendent to join our dynamic team. This role is designed for individuals eager to learn and grow within the construction industry, specifically focusing on K-12 and municipal projects. The ideal candidate will support project management processes and, over time, take on greater responsibilities, ultimately leading their own projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Superintendent in managing daily operations on-site for K-12 and municipal projects.
• Learn and understand project processes, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Support the coordination of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Participate in project meetings, documenting minutes and action items for follow-up.
• Help maintain compliance with safety regulations and quality standards on-site.
• Contribute to the preparation of project reports and documentation.
• Develop relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders to foster a collaborative work environment.
• Take initiative in problem-solving and identifying areas for process improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in construction or project management is a plus, but not required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software is a plus.
