Project Accountant opportunity with a General Contractor in South Miami.

Join a growing General Contractor in Miami working on a $200 Million project! This company has over 20 years of tenure and is a part of a larger global entity!

Your new role

This position is responsible for the accounting of large construction projects. Some of the main responsibilities include processing subcontractor payment applications, liens release, reviewing documentation to release payments and construction draws. Verifying the monthly actuals against the budget.

What you'll need to succeed

You should have worked for General Contractors/construction industry and/or Developers in Project Accounting or construction accounting capacity. Experience using Procore is a nice plus, as well as SAP. The ability to work under pressure and multitasking are necessary skills in this role. You will also have a bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Civil Engineering, or equivalent. 4 years of cost control or accounting are required. You must have advanced Excel knowledge.
