What will you be doing?
Circana is seeking a talented Consultant to support the maximization of value for client partners participating in our retail collaborative gateway programs. As a Client Insights Consult for Circana' Client Development Organization (CDO), you will be responsible for business development and custom solution analysis, will support one or more key strategic accounts across Retailer Gateway Programs. You will be working with big data, particularly Point of Sale (POS), Supply Chain, Shopper and Consumer data, to evaluate research data, identify key insights, and recommend actionable steps that drive value and directly impact the Clients' profitability.
Job Responsibilities
The ideal Retail Account Management & Strategy Consultant would possess knowledge of Circana tools, retail collaborative experience, the ability to interpret data, strong project management skills and is client focused.
- Analytic Capability: Use a systematic approach to analysis and solving problems that involves using the various Circana data assets & solutions, tracking the implications of situations, generating multiple alternatives, and making comparisons of potential solutions before acting.
- Provide strategic, priority insights support for top tier Clients and account teams
- Create insights approaches that can be shared across CDO Clients with minimal alterations
- Collaborate with peers from cross-functional teams on Client and retailer projects
- Always thinking proactively about the client's business opportunities and analysis paths or solutions that could resolve
- Quality Control: Drive to achieve high-quality results through effective data integrity.
- Troubleshooting issues and communicating to cross-functional teams to resolve
- Executing curiosity to find quick solutions or workarounds to issues
- Collaborate on custom solutions/projects to solve critical business needs
- Planning and Organizing: Determine effort and resources required to meet objectives; able to plan, coordinate and manage resources effectively to ensure task completion.
- Partner with Clients and CDO Account Leaders to proactively identify, structure and answer Client related business questions
- Track and organize multiple work streams across multiple clients to succeed against changing priorities.
- Develop and preserve and compelling case studies that support client wins
- Client Obsessed: Consistently act with Client satisfaction in mind and follow through on commitments to ensure the needs of the Client are met.
- Engaging on issues that matter most to the client's retail business.
- Identify and resolve client learning gaps with Circana solutions and methodologies
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and requirements.
- Help customers identify solutions to problems they did not know they had.
- Regularly and proactively communicate with the client-facing teams, including soliciting feedback to continually improving the relationship.
- Consultative Selling: Apply knowledge of Client's business and the industry to identify, create, and close business opportunities.
- Inform Client's 3 to 5-year strategic plans
- Leverage multiple Circana assets to address strategic retail questions that showcase value and build broader interest
- Opportunity to influence client HQ with compelling retail analyses, support and collaboration
- Build and deliver a service and insights offering that drives renewals and incremental subscriptions
Requirements
- 5+ progressive years of experience in marketing and sales analytics with CPG manufacturers, retailers or marketing analytics firms
- Demonstrated expertise in translating data and analysis into relevant insights, packaging the learnings into Client-ready presentations and presentation skills
- Ability to build rapport cross-functionally and engage in a consultative manner with Clients when helping solve/manage key business needs and influence thinking
- Experience Circana's consumer and shopper data assets a plus OR other syndicated data solutions
- Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree a plus

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The salary range for this role is $100k-$115k.
