Job Description:
Our client is hiring a highly skilled and motivated Control Engineer to join their dynamic team. This role involves overseeing all aspects of design, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of controls equipment. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving upgrade projects from concept to completion, ensuring continuous improvement of our facilities systems. Responsibilities:

• Oversee design, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of controls equipment for facilities and antennas.
• Perform complex engineering, design, analysis, or other technical tasks utilizing current technology and standards.
• Provide engineering support to facilities systems, driving upgrade projects from concept to completion for continuous improvement.
• Work closely with Mechanical (HVAC), Electrical, Fiber Optic, and Fire Protection project design team members.
• Ensure all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed for all work completed.
• Interpret client requirements, identify and address design parameters and engineering problems, ensuring solutions are implemented accurately and within budget.
• Coordinate design elements with other design disciplines and create finalized designs to meet project requirements.
• Commission customized products and systems onsite and at customer facilities to ensure they are working as designed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited institution in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
• Ability to obtain a trusted background check and pass a National Criminal Information Check (NCIC).
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and working knowledge of the latest Windows operating system.
• Demonstrated experience with at least one general-purpose programming language (e.g., Assembly, C, C++, Python).
• Understanding of linear and electro-mechanical components, serial and parallel communication protocols.
• Basic knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and various sensor equipment.
• Familiarity with Ladder logic/PLC programming and computer networking.
• Master's Degree, Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification, or Professional Engineering (PE) License (preferred).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction, multi-task, and quickly adapt to change.
