OPERATIONS COORDINATOR - PULP
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Provides support to the Pulp Department in the form of day-to-day leadership, project management, temporary supervision (including shifts), inventory management, production scheduling, maintenance planning, and operator training. Lead outage coordinator for the operating area as well as the essential care and condition monitoring rounds coordinator for the operating area.
QUALIFICATIONS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering Preferred, if no degree, must have successfully passed the TABE, CRC, or Nowlin test and have 5 years of paper making experience.
- Strong knowledge of equipment/process systems
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing conditions.
- Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel)
- Advanced knowledge is needed in safety.
- Knowledge in the Pulp Area
- Analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills both internally and externally
- Proficient computer skills
- Continuous Improvement
- Quality Assurance
- Responsible for planning, leading, lockout plan, and reporting on outages.
- Reviews essential care rounds and condition monitoring rounds
- Backup support for weekend duty/evening call
- Shift Relief Supervisor
Demonstrated ability to manage by influence, work with a group as a team member or the ability to lead by example while ensuring employee accountability to all department requirements.
