This is a hybrid position primarily based in Canton, MA, Jersey City, NJ or Louisville KY. A role you will love

First level supervisory position responsible for the day-to-day management of a team of project managers in the planning, negotiation of contracts, and execution of Corporate Action events (stock dividends, spin-offs, distributions, warrants, conversions, etc.). The team acts as the primary contact for external and internal clients, and is responsible for client satisfaction, retention, and profitability.

  • Determine work procedures, planning, and successful execution of Corporate Action Projects
  • Review work volume and assign events to project managers
  • Update Corporate Actions events repository with new events
  • Work with team members to ensure assigned events are billed timely and resolve client/shareholder escalated inquiries
  • Complete staff performance evaluations
  • Maintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances
  • Prepare and distribute information that highlights important operational aspects of the Corporate Actions Job onto Computershare Repository system- COSMOS.
  • Manage and facilitate CA events including contract reviews/negotiations and Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC) questionnaire.
  • Available during non-business hours depending on project needs
  • Other duties or tasks as assigned by management.

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.- Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics) from four-year college or university; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Essential computer skills include regular use of computer including the ability to type, utilize a mouse and read information from computer screen or monitor.
  • Two to three supervisory experiences in financial industry- bank/brokerage, Transfer Agents
Preferred:
  • Proficient in Microsoft project and have working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • Compensation. The typical base pay range for this role is 101,000-$130,000. This base pay is a national average and may not be applicable to all locations.
