This is a hybrid work opportunity. The Company feels that three shared days in the office and two days with the option of working remotely allows for both collaborative time and quiet space for deep work. Eligible employees for hybrid work are required to work in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. There may be a need for additional office days based on specific business requirement.
This role is available to report at any of the subsidiary locations of SJW Group, including San Jose, CA; New Braunfels, TX; Clinton, CT; Saco, ME.
Job Description
The Cybersecurity Associate Analyst is responsible for executing tasks related to our cybersecurity measures, ensuring the protection of our digital assets, and responding to security incidents. This role involves a variety of tasks including phishing email response, email security administration, self-audits, and supporting multi-factor authentication (MFA). Key Responsibilities: · Provide first-level response to phishing email incidents. · Assist in Awareness training for Organization. · Assist in Administration of Email Security Gateway. · Assist in Administration of Enterprise Password Manager. · Assist in managing MFA for the organization. · Assist in managing enterprise Anti-Virus/EDR. · Assist in Third Party Threat Management. · Assist in administration of Vulnerability Management tool. · Run reports, create dashboards, and other analysis of security tools. · Perform internal audit procedures. · Additional duties or special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualification
· Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as computer science, required ; may be supplemented by work experience. · At least one year of relevant experience in cybersecurity administration or a related field required. · Familiarity with phishing email response strongly preferred. · Experience with self-audits and managing MFA preferred. · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. · Excellent communication and organizational skills. · Familiarity with vulnerability management and remediation tools preferred.
