RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Architect in Corvallis, OR.Summary:The Data Architect plays a critical role in shaping and optimizing our data ecosystem. They are responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data solutions that drive business insights and support strategic decision-making. As a key influencer and change agent, the Data Architect collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure data governance, quality, and standardization.Roles and Responsibilities:Data Governance and Quality:- Champion data governance practices and policies
- Influence stakeholders to adhere to data standards and best practices
- Implement data quality frameworks, including profiling, cleansing, deduplication, and monitoring
- Understand modern data platform architectures, especially cloud-native solutions
- Design scalable, reliable, and cost-effective data platforms using AWS services or other cloud providers
- Proficiently create efficient data schemas that meet analytical and operational needs
- Ensure adherence to performance and scalability best practices
- Expertise in integrating data from diverse sources
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools and real-time data integration methods
- Understand cloud concepts and have hands-on experience with AWS or other cloud platforms
- Familiarity with services like S3, Redshift, Glue, and Athena
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing, automation, and scripting
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Communicate complex ideas to stakeholders at all levels
- Analyze intricate data-related challenges
- Identify root causes and propose innovative solutions
REQUIREMENTS:
- To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
- Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
