Altus Group is delighted to announce a new opportunity for an Data Entry Administrator (Administrator Assistant) to join our Unclaimed Property team in Hunt Valley, Maryland. This position is expected to fill a role within the department by assisting with the handling of state mandated due diligence mailings for Unclaimed Property.
You will assist with the state required due diligence mailing for all clients, including but not limited to the generation of letters, mailing, fielding respondent related questions, collect and log responses. Additionally, scanning and archival and filing of documents for audit trail purposes will be performed.
Working arrangements are primarily in office.
Key Responsibilities:
Creating, printing and mailing due diligence letters
Opening, sorting and logging responses into the system, respond to incoming inquiries via e-mail and collect e-mail responses, manage the online response system; scanning, archival and filing of documents
Performing data entry and any other duties as assigned
Key Qualifications:
An undergraduate degree. Finance, Economics or Accounting (or related field) is preferred.
Minimum 1-2 years of administrative experience. Working within unclaimed property is a huge asset, but not required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Excel, Word and Outlook).
Strong Excel skills, with the ability to perform some advanced functions (SUM, If/Then, pivot tables, VLOOKUP) as well as Adobe.
An analytical mindset, with the ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Independent thinker
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast paced, high volume work environment
Proactive and organized to meet tight deadlines
