RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client seeking a Desktop Support in Houston, TX.Responsibilities:
  • Assist with researching and designing desktop-related products, services, protocols, and standards
  • Provide input and recommendations for developing, implementing, and maintaining company policies, procedures, and training plans for desktop administration
  • Develop and maintain a library of technical documentation, policies, procedures, and knowledge base articles related to this position
  • Work cooperatively and collaboratively with other IT team members, company employees, and external vendors to ensure the systems always operate at normal capacity
  • Participate in moderate to complex IT-related projects with excellence in project delivery while adhering to standard project management methodologies
  • Perform additional work as required


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Requires four years of experience or an Associate's degree and two (2) years of experience
Certificates, Licenses, Registration:
  • Level 1: Microsoft 365 Fundamentals or equivalent (required)
  • Level 2: Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (required), Microsoft 365: Certified Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or equivalent (preferred)
  • Apple certification (preferred)
Technical Skills and Abilities:
  • Requires the ability to apply methods, procedures, practices, and processes derived from technical training and experience to effectively diagnose and solve technical problems from simple to moderate complexity promptly and effectively
  • Requires proficiency in administering, installing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and supporting intermediate to advanced business-specific client/computer endpoint technology-based business systems
  • Knowledge and expertise supporting desktop computers, laptops, printers, copiers, scanners, and related client/computer endpoint-related technologies, including, but not limited to a focus on Microsoft-based business delivery systems such as Outlook, Office 365, Windows operating systems, and related administration, implementation, deployment, and troubleshooting
  • Firm understanding of Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, and FTP protocols
  • Basic understanding of network troubleshooting includes DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, Group Policy, and general network topologies as it relates to this position
  • Successful prior experience working in a team environment


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
