Description:
Job Title: Desktop Support Technician

Location: Hybrid (3 days on-site at North Richland Hills, TX office, 2 days remote)

Openings: 12

Duration: 3-6 months, possibility of extensions (No opportunity for FTE conversion)

Job Summary: The Desktop Support Technician is responsible for supporting and maintaining organizational computer systems, desktops, and peripherals. This includes imaging, installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all organizational hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance. The role also involves troubleshooting problem areas (in person, by telephone, or via incident tickets) in a timely and accurate manner and providing end-user assistance as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Image, install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade hardware and equipment.
  • Ensure optimal performance of workstations.
  • Troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion.
  • Provide end-user assistance where required.
  • Configure (image) laptops and desktops using SCCM imaging with thumb drives.
  • Repair and troubleshoot laptops, desktops, monitors, printers, and company-owned mobile devices.
  • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi and VPN connection issues.
Must-Have Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Minimum of two years' experience supporting end-user desktops, laptops, and operating systems.
  • Proficiency in Service Now, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in an IT-related field (e.g., computer science, technical support, information technology).
  • Knowledge of computer software, operating systems, hardware, and networking.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Experience in providing professional and courteous customer service.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A+ certification in computer technology.
