Are you ready to take accountability and innovate every day? We are seeking a Director, Digital Communications to join our US External Communications team. In this role, you will develop and implement a data-driven, audience-centric digital communications strategy to improve the reach and impact of our digital properties in the US. You will drive reputational and business results by applying a mix of communications and marketing strategies.
Accountabilities:
As the Director, Digital Communications, you will drive the creation of integrated digital communications plans and coordinate their implementation. You will serve as the primary day-to-day contact for the Company and agencies, managing multiple projects, anticipating challenges, and ensuring deadline adherence. You will manage our US social media accounts and website, keeping them current and consistent with branding and messaging standards. You will also identify and track key performance indicators, analyze results to improve digital channel strategies, and translate data into actionable digital strategies and tactics.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- proven experience in digital communications/social media content creation, corporate communications, digital marketing or public relations agency working in digital/social.
- Knowledge of current and emerging platforms, digital communications and trends.
- Ability to demonstrate success in a fast-paced, high-exposure environment.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work successfully with cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in available measurement tools and methodologies.
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
Desirable skills:
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industries.
- Ability to manage a significant volume of projects in a matrixed environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Strong professional character.
- Expertise in latest digital platforms and best practices.
