Join us as a Director, Operational Data and Innovation, a pivotal role within the Operational Data Strategy (ODS) functional leadership team. This role is responsible for the development and implementation of a performance management framework for Clinical Data and Insights (CDI) and supports broadly across Clinical Operations. This role will lead the products for performance management in the capacity as a product manager. This role will directly support key transformation initiatives across the organization.
As a Director, you will be accountable for the strategic direction and implementation of performance management frameworks across the Clinical Data & Insights organization, with elements of broader support across Clinical Operations. You will directly support key transformation initiatives with (>$10MM multi-year investments), ensuring alignment between transformation demands and business sustainability. This will be in a Performance Products Management capacity. You will also be responsible for the talent development strategy within segment and contribute to global governance of our external partners.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor or Advanced Degree in Biological Sciences, Data, IT, Policy, Compliance, Legal or related field with understanding of data and analytics.
- 10+ years of experience in consulting, business operations, reporting, analysis/ data management.
- Proven leadership experience with multiple data collection and/or analytical and reporting technologies.
- Proven track record of building strategy, leading and running successful innovation initiatives.
- Proven leadership skills promoting motivation and empowerment of others in order to accomplish individual, team and organizational objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to manage priorities, allocate resources and set performance targets in a global environment.
- Ability to influence strategically and persuade tactfully to acquire desired outcomes while maintaining effective and positive relationships at a functional and organizational level.
- Ability to identify opportunities, lead and foster cross-functional/external collaboration and to work across boundaries to increase performance in the end-to-end clinical development value chain.
- Ability to manage risk and conflicts in a dynamic environment.
- Detailed knowledge of industry trends.

- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large scale business improvement efforts that adds value to the business.
- Experience in the latest digital technologies pertaining to data collection, analytics and reporting.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $147,000 to $220,509. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles) or to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
