ECS is seeking a Director- VA OIT Pursuit and Operations to work in our Remote office.

Job Description:

Background:

ECS is a rapidly growing company committed to delivering high quality IT and management consulting support for mission focused programs at the Department of Veterans Affairs. We are seeking a Director of Pursuit and Operations to build, organize, grow, and manage our growing IT portfolio at VA. The role is an executive position that has significant influence at ECS. This role will interact directly with the VA and ECS Leadership teams and help shape the strategic direction of the business. ECS has an extensive portfolio of work at VA with extensive growth on the horizon. This role will take an active role in shaping growth, building, and leading teams, and engaging with clients to meet and exceed their needs.

Role Description

Growth minded leader who interfaces with partners and customers to build the VA OIT portfolio.

Support pursuits, including capture and proposal activities for VA OIT opportunities.

Lead solution sessions, proposal planning and response in coordination with Corporate BD and Proposal shops.

Identify new opportunities and key stakeholders/decision-makers in VA OIT.

Manage a portfolio of delivery teams and provide internal coordination with and utilization of internal program support functions to ensure efficient and effective project administration.

Staff and manage new VA OIT projects, providing operations and subject matter expertise (SME) support to help clients meet project goals and missions.

Ability to analyze and manage portfolio of profit and loss and communicate findings and recommendations of financial analysis.

Provide leadership, mentoring, training, and coaching to program managers and task leads.

Actively lead and participate in interviews and onboarding of candidates.

Professionally represent ECS at client progress meetings and briefings and support day-to-day client relationships and communications.

Salary Range: 175,000-205,000

Required Skills:

Minimum 10+ years of related experience.

Experience leading pursuit efforts for Federal projects.

Experience coordinating with partners, senior leaders to support capture and pursuit of new work.

Experience establishing new project teams, including staffing large efforts on short suspense.

Bachelor's Degree.

Desired Skills:

VA OIT business development and operations consulting experience.
