Basic Job Functions:
The Dispatch / DOT Coordinator role will be responsible for taking care of our customers by coordinating deliveries to meet customer requirements. This role is responsible to communicate and work directly with all Vulcraft departments and outside carriers to regulate deliveries and solve any product delivery issues that may occur. This position will be actively involved in fleet management and payroll, carrier invoicing, freight availability, and monitoring of transportation assignments. This role is also responsible to maintain DOT compliance and record keeping, as well as compliance with all safety rules and regulations. This position may require being on call after work hours, including possible nights or weekends.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Compensation Data
This is a salary, exempt role with annual compensation ranging from $70,824 - $74,000 plus division earned Profit Sharing Bonus and Return on Asset Bonus.
