Location: Knoxville, IL
Salary: $83,000.00 USD Annually - $90,000.00 USD Annually
Description: We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to collaborate directly with project managers and vendors/ customers. The ideal candidate will come out of the manufacturing industry. They must also have a strong HMI & Logix background. This is an On-Site position.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Assesses and provides technical and troubleshooting support for electrical and programming needs directly affecting plant operation.
• Work collaboratively with vendors, maintenance, operations technicians, and their supervision to fully Provide technical repair expertise and troubleshooting focal point for plant equipment including: 12.47kV & 480v power distribution, PLCs, and instrumentation.
• Support the manufacturing process of control panels.
• Conduct testing of PLC and OIT programs on machines, both in-house and on-site.
• Troubleshoot machinery operations and control circuits effectively.
• Develop and direct repair plans for major equipment failures and plant outages.
• Create and manage new SAP electrical part numbers and descriptions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
• Strong understanding of panel design.
• Proficient knowledge of control/safety circuits ranging from 24VDC to 575VAC 3-phase power circuits.
• 3 to 4 years of experience as an Electrical Controls Engineer.
• Experience with 3D modeling and AutoCAD.
• Preferred skills include RS Logix 5000 and Wonderware.
• Must have previous experience with SAP
