Volt is immediately hiring for a Electrical Maintenance Technician in Cerritos, CA. $30-35/hr.
As a Electrical Maintenance Technician you will:
- Respond to and manage maintenance requests, including logging and scheduling.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks like changing filters, oiling motors, and replacing lamps, while keeping accurate records.
- Assist in developing and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Monitor and adjust climate control systems and other equipment.
- Identify safety concerns and recommend corrective actions.
- Support production with equipment setup, assembly, and testing.
- Assess and identify necessary repairs or upgrades for electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and other essential facilities.
This is a full time opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of facilities electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Must have electrical and electrical systems experience
- Experience with setting up distribution panels and installing electrical panels
- Hands-on experience with technical building systems like electrical switchgear, HVAC, and fire protection.
- Experience with CNC and machine shop equipment maintenance is a plus.
- Knowledge of OSHA Safety Regulations and Building Code Standards.
- Ability to read and review contractor drawings and schematics.
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with site occupants, suppliers, and other personnel.
- Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Pay Rate: $30-35 per hour
