JAS is an international, non-asset-based supply chain services and solutions company. Our services include air and ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, distribution, inbound logistics, truckload brokerage and other supply chain management services, including consulting, the coordination of purchase orders and customized management services.

The Executive Assistant provides essential support to senior executives by managing their schedules, analyzing data, creating compelling presentations, and coordinating strategic meetings. This role requires a skilled professional with strong analytical abilities, exceptional organizational skills, and the capability to manage high-level executive functions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support decision-making processes.
• Prepare detailed reports and visualizations to present insights and trends.
• Maintain and update databases, spreadsheets, and other tracking systems.
• Develop professional presentations for executive meetings, conferences, and reports.
• Design and format slides to effectively communicate key messages and data.
• Ensure presentations are accurate, polished, and aligned with executive goals.
• Organize and coordinate strategic meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and logistics.
• Facilitate the collection and distribution of materials and documentation needed for meetings.
• Take comprehensive meeting minutes, track action items, and follow up on deliverables.
• Manage and coordinate the executive's calendar, appointments, and travel arrangements.
• Handle and prioritize emails, phone calls, and other communications.
• Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, and other documents.
• Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by executives.
• Conduct research and compile information to support project objectives.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
• Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
• Handle inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and efficiency.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients, partners, and team members.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and create insightful reports.
• Proficiency in presentation software (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Slides) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, PowerBi).
• Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of discretion and confidentiality.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Analysis, or a related field such as Business Communication/Public Relations/Marketing preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar administrative role with a focus on data analysis and presentation creation.

• Knowledge of the logistics/freight forwarding industry is a plus.

ENVIRONMENT:
100% performed in climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions. Travel will be (up to 25%) required in support of the position's responsibilities.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hands and finger to feel and handle; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to stoop, kneel, and crouch; lift weight or exert a force up to a maximum of 25 pounds.
