Title: Experience Strategist, Senior Consultant

As an Experience Strategist at Slalom, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategy for experience transformation projects. You will integrate customer strategy, business strategy, and experience design to create a cohesive approach to solving complex challenges for our clients. Your responsibilities include supporting the development of a shared vision, setting objectives, and drafting plans to achieve desired outcomes across product, experience, marketing, and business teams. You will be involved in all aspects of the experience ecosystem, laying the groundwork to enable and enhance our client's customer experience.
What You'll Do
- Provide subject matter expertise and delivery excellence on experience-led client projects
- Facilitate workshops and interviews with client teams to develop a deep understanding of opportunities, challenges, and desired business outcomes and to create alignment and buy-in
- Conduct maturity model assessments to identify which capabilities will be required to achieve strategic objectives and build delivery roadmaps, including recommendations about specific martech platforms and tools
- Develop personas, customer journeys, and service design blueprints
- Lead customer research to understand customer needs and align with key business outcomes
- Collaborate with clients and customers to define business requirements and develop prototype experiences
- Partner with clients to determine experience metrics that align to business objectives
- Collaborate with Slalom cross-functional teams and capabilities (analytics, experience design, technology, program leadership, account leadership) to execute strategies that achieve and exceed business goals
- Support pipeline development and grow opportunities through client solutioning, resource scoping, and delivery planning
What You'll Bring
- 6+ years of consulting or digital agency experience in a client-facing role
- Fluency in relevant experience design frameworks (e.g., in Design Thinking, Service Design, Human Centered Design, etc.)
- Complex project experience leading multiple workstreams, roadmaps, and budgets
- Working knowledge of the Martech landscape, capabilities of key platforms (e.g. Adobe Experience Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Marketing Platform) and emerging trends along with experience using and/or implementing said platforms
- Experience designing and executing customer and client research
- Skills in workshop facilitation to drive consensus and navigate complexity
- Experience in business case development and presenting to executive audiences
- Knowledge and skills using collaboration and rapid prototyping platforms (e.g., Miro, Figma, Lucid, etc.)
- Demonstrated professional growth and the proven ability to work cross-functionally
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to audiences of all levels, including the ability to organize and simplify concepts and maintain a strong executive presence

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this Senior Consultant position, the base salary pay range is $120,000 to $186,000 and the targeted base salary range is $120,000 to $160,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
