Volt is immediately hiring Fabrication Technicians in Smyrna, TN.

As a Fabrication Technician you will:

• Read blueprints and manufacturing instructions.
• Run turret or brake press according to set specs.
• Perform pem, tap, and radius operations.
• Identify and verify part specs.
• Operate LVD and/or Cincinnati brakes at required rates.
• Set up and run Amada turrets at required rates.
• Offer valuable product improvement suggestions.
• Take on additional tasks as needed.

This is a Full Time - Direct Hire opportunity.

The ideal Fabrication Technician candidate will have:

• One year of heavy equipment/machine operating experience - required.
• Ability to handle basic shop math and interpret blueprints - required.
• Strong team player mindset with a focus on quality and safety.
• One year of fabrication experience - preferred.
• Familiarity with World Class manufacturing principles - preferred.

Schedule - 1st and 2nd shifts available.

Salary: $58,000 - $60,000 per year

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
