Bonus payout schedule:
After 1 month (30 days) of employment receive $1,000
After 3 months (90 days) of employment receive $1,500
After 6 months (180 days) of employment you receive $2,500
Candidate must successfully complete the above time increments to be eligible
Intro:
This position has a range of $25.60 - $36.50/hr. with a shift increase for second and third shift and potential for overtime. There is potential to progress quickly within levels based on completed training and demonstrated skills on the job. We have an open position on first shift.

Position Description:
Facilities Maintenance positions are responsible for the care and maintenance of all other than production equipment systems. Could include all from basic Restroom maintenance to Drywall and painting. Concrete, Asphalt patching and perimeter fencing. In addition, this position is responsible to monitor, control, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all building components, refrigeration equipment, steam generating equipment, compressed air systems, water supply and distribution systems, return condensate systems, mechanically, electrically, hydraulically, and pneumatically using the proper tools and test equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The frequency of the following activities may vary according to the requirements of the job task assigned.
- Assist in utilities maintenance as directed (HVAC, wastewater, etc.)
- Complete all necessary documentation of activities (log entries, leak reports, etc.)
- Ensures operation of Utilities machinery and mechanical equipment by performing maintenance on various machines, following diagrams, machine manuals, and manufacturer's instructions
- Troubleshoots malfunctions by observing mechanical devices in operation, discovering problems, and making the repairs
- Performs minor and major repairs
- Handles preventative maintenance
- Install equipment on utility systems
- Comply with all Tyson safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements
- Complete all paperwork and SAP functions
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a minimum of (3) years of mechanic work experience documented in the work history section of the application or be a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program.
- NJ Black Seal Boiler License High Pressure or higher
- Experience in Electro-Mechanical, or a related field of study (preferred)
- PSM Experience (preferred)
- Must be willing and able to work in a cold environment, -20 to 110 degrees F, with all appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and required gear
- Must be willing and able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to perform repetitive motions such as pinching and grasping
- Able to reach high and low levels, frequently
- Able to constantly stand/stoop/walk/bend, up to 12 hrs.
- Able to climb stairs several times per hour
- The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
