About the Opportunity:

In this newly created role, the Global Performance & Partnerships Manager at Life Fitness will be responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing strategic partnerships that drive branding initiatives and company growth. The initial focus will be on the (1) performance and (2) hospitality segments where the halo effect has a direct impact on the main strategic segments (health clubs, athletics, military, education and MUH). This role involves working closely with key stakeholders, internally and externally, to identify opportunities, implement partnerships, and monitor their effectiveness.

Life Fitness' Global Performance & Partnerships Manager will bring a proven track record of building and executing on a results-based partnership strategy.

What our Global Performance & Partnerships Manager will be responsible for:

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for partnership growth and development.

  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities for partnerships.

  • Work closely with internal teams, including Brand, Marketing, Sales, Legal, Finance and Product Development, to align partnership strategies with overall business objectives.

  • Coordinate with partners to ensure the successful execution of joint initiatives and campaigns.

  • Develop partnership content strategies to achieve business goals within the strategic segments of growth

Partnership Development:

  • Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities that align with the company's strategic goals.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential partners.

  • Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.

  • Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise within partnerships.

  • Provide solutions and recommendations to improve partnership performance.

Brand Performance Optimization:

  • Manage global brand partnership budget and maximize ROI

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize performance and achieve business objectives.

  • Track and analyze partnership performance data to assess impact and ROI.

  • Monitor the performance of each partnerships on a quarterly basis using key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.

  • Provide regular reports and insights to stakeholders (C-suite/direct reports) on partnership performance.

Project Management:

  • Oversee the execution of partnership projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

  • Manage project timelines, resources, and communications to ensure successful outcomes.

What we're looking for in our Global Performance & Partnerships Manager (Qualifications):

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in brand partnership management with proven track record of partnerships building and contacts within sports / fitness industries

Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong understanding of marketing, sales, and business development; prior experience in a B2B organization strongly preferred
