This candidate will be working directly with the THG Accelerator Team and the startup founders to produce social media posts, one-pagers, slide decks, videos, trade show graphics, and various collateral.

Essential Functions

• Serve as a dependable partner to the Accelerator team members, colleagues, and startups.
• Brainstorm ideas using external research and best practices.
• Design, write, and produce engaging social content, marketing collateral, and videos.
• Analyze analytics to gauge the success of digital campaigns.
• Proven social media expertise; mastery of LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram to drive engagement with social accounts and the website.
• Adobe Creative suite and Canva mastery required.
• Assist Operations Manager with tasks (as needed).

Education Qualifications

• Required High School or Equivalent
• Preferred Bachelor's Degree : Current Junior or Senior majoring in marketing, graphic design, communications, or other related fields.

Experience Qualifications

• Preferred 3+ years Prior marketing or communications experience.
• Preferred 1+ years Video editing, graphic design, and social media strategy.
• Required Writing samples, these will be required during the interview stage.

Skills and Abilities

• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Creative thinker and problem-solver.
• Organized with the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
• Aptitude with various social media platforms as well as the data tracking tools associated with them.
• Adobe Creative suite and Canva mastery required.
• Collaborative and conscientious individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit.

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

• Will require a valid drivers license.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lb.
• Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
• Must have the ability to lift and carry small parcels, packages and other items and walk short distances.

Internships at The Heritage Group

The Heritage Group Internship Program provides hands-on, paid experiences in a corporate function or within one of our many operating companies. Interns can expect to network with other students and professionals, gain useful skills, receive mentoring, and make their own contributions to the organization. Additionally, interns can participate in our weekly hosted events focused on professional development, team building, and community service.

Intern pay is non-negotiable and is calculated based on current academic class standing $17/hour (Freshman) - $20/hour (Senior), etc.
