Day shift available from 8am to 5pm - 80 hours per pay period

Position Summary

Maintains all aspects of scheduling home care services; provides administrative and clerical support to the Home Care/Home Health Department. Maintains a customer focused attitude at all times. Ensures copies of necessary documents are available to staff, Notify staff of credentialing needs and participate in On-call rotation.

Required Qualifications
  • High school graduate
  • Minimum of 1 year general office experience
  • Scheduling experience highly desirable
  • Able to work 40 flexible hours per week
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and a general medical background desirable
  • Computer skills including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Data entry experience
  • Excellent telephone skills
  • Scheduling ability and experience
  • Driver's license and vehicle required for courier duties between office and main campus
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The following duties are normal for this position. This list is not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
  • Scheduling new and existing client's services. New client intake and referred to Program Manager for contract signing and care plans.
  • Assist with admitting new campus clients as need when Program manager is not available.
  • Assist in maintaining client and caregiver files.
  • Keep them CEMP up to date
  • Basic telephone and faxing skills needed with phone etiquette with an emphasis on customer service. Basic marketing skills a plus.
  • Data entry including entering new clients, verifying payroll and assist business office manager in payroll/billing duties
  • Follow up phone calls for patients due to schedule changes, and general communications
  • Maintains confidentiality of all client information.
  • Performs job in compliance with agency policies and procedures as well as community standards and applicable laws.
  • Communicates necessary information to supervisor and management staff to ensure accuracy of data and coordination of agency functions.
  • Other clerical and administrative responsibilities as necessary and as directed by the Home Care Program manager or Home Health Administrator.
  • Provide staff assistance with basic EVV system use
  • Participation in the On-Call Rotation mandatory
