Job Title: Inventory Specialist

Job Description:
Ultimate Staffing is seeking an experienced Inventory Specialist for our client in the logistics industry near Laurel, MD. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a background in inventory management, specifically in cycle counting and stock control. The Inventory Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring inventory accuracy and supporting efficient warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform regular cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, coordinating with warehouse staff as needed
Update and maintain inventory records, ensuring data accuracy within inventory management systems
Prepare inventory reports and support audits as required
Communicate with the team to ensure alignment on inventory processes and needs

Qualifications:
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in inventory control, specifically with cycle counting, preferably in the logistics or warehousing industry
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word)
Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and troubleshoot issues related to inventory
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
