Overview
Green Bay Dressed Beef Processing LLC , an American Foods Group Company, has an opportunity for Inventory Supervisor at our East River plant.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with Sales on current order shortages or overruns, aged product, item changes and loading.
  • Communicate and provide accurate reports to customers at their discretion.
  • Serve as the point of contact between production and sales, communicating any changes effectively.
  • Identify product needs and manage transfers.
  • Oversee aged inventory management.
  • Identify and resolve system errors.
  • Manage yard operations and Chep pallet systems.
  • Facilitate production and distribution integration.
  • Identify and implement distribution efficiencies per shift.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve inventory processes.
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures.
  • Train and mentor team members on best practices in inventory management.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications (Required):
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management or a related field
  • Ability to drive and operate power industrial trucks.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 4-year degree in Supply Chain management.
  • Certified in production and inventory management (CPIM), or as a supply chain professional (CSCP)
  • Experience leading and working in manufacturing warehousing and proficiency in inventory management
  • ERP system experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively liaise with sales and production teams.
  • Good analytical and accounting skills.
  • Proficiency in computer use.
  • Ability to Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong decision-making capabilities under pressure.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with supply chain management principles. multi-task effectively.
