RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is looking for an IT Field Service Engineer in Henderson, NV.Summary:Under the direction of the Manager, IT Enterprise Operations, the IT Field Service Engineer will independently perform all aspects of field support including installation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of PCs and mechanical equipment in their assigned region. This individual will interact with people and develop long term relationships with their customers. The Technician, IT Enterprise Operations I will be the first line of contact with the end users.Responsibilities:
  • IT Field Service Engineer will perform on-site servicing, repair and/or installation of hardware and software throughout assigned region
  • Assist customers to diagnose problems and provide resolutions for technical and service issues including end-user local-area network access problems, e-mail, Internet, and network or local printer problems
  • Provide one-on-one end-user problem resolution with remote desktop tools, telephone, and in- person
  • Diagnose and resolve desktop and laptop hardware issues
  • Under minimal supervision, install new IT and related equipment and software
  • As a IT Field Service Engineer, you will help coordinate timely support and repair on various IT equipment covered by third-party vendor maintenance agreements
  • Manage help tickets assigned to them, ensuring maximum issue resolution in minimum time with the end user needs as the main focus
  • Perform multiple, technical tasks with a need to routinely upgrade skills to meet changing job conditions
  • Other duties as assigned by Management


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Equivalent to High School diploma or general education degree (GED) with at least one year college level course work
  • 3-5 years of experience in an IT environment with strong troubleshooting skills and networking software and hardware problems
  • Knowledge of Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Servers, Microsoft Office, and theories of network systems
  • Possess a valid driver's license
Preferred:
  • Associate's degree or higher in related field
  • MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional), A+, or Network + Certification
  • 1-2 years of experience providing end-user phone support


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
