The Journal of Asian Health (JAH) is CARE's premier Asian health journal. The journal's mission is to contribute to the understanding of the social and medical determinants of health in Asians, in the United States and globally. JAH is a peer-reviewed journal for clinicians, researchers, trainees, and community members that features original research articles, letters, review articles, and research perspectives on a range of topics related to disease risk and health outcomes for Asian populations. JAH is a peer-reviewed journal that currently publishes two issues a year, with a long-term goal of monthly publications.CARE is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Journal Editor to provide administrative and editorial management of the Journal of Asian Health (JAH). In this new role, the Journal Editor will work closely with the Journal's Editor in Chief to provide administrative and editorial management, as well as to shape the growth of the publication to become the world's leading journal in Asian health.The ideal candidate will have a passion for advancing research and education to advance health equity, compelling experience reviewing and editing complex and diverse pieces of healthcare literature, and exceptional strengths in both critical thinking and developing relationships with stakeholders. Experience with building an early-stage journal is preferred but not required.This position will report to the CARE Associate Director of Operations and will be hybrid based out of Stanford Research Park, with the potential for a remote position.Duties include:
