The Irrigation Technician will be responsible for the installing, maintaining and repairing of irrigation systems used in the landscaping setting on the Home Office Campus.
Essential Job Duties...
- Carry out calibration tests (sprinklers, operating pressures, and pumps) within our closed loop system to detect problems and make the necessary follow-up or repair.
- Performing tasks such as adjusting sprinkler heads, programming irrigation controllers, and conducting routine inspections to optimize water usage and prevent waste.
- Responsible for daily repair & maintenance of irrigation and related equipment.
- Responding to alerts/work orders from a ticketing system in a timely manner.
- Operates, maintains and repairs existing irrigation systems to ensure adequate moisture for plantings.
- Works with Supervisor to maintain a high quality of watering throughout the growing season.
- Works closely with landscape supervisors to ensure optimal irrigation needs are met for each property.
- Responding promptly to emergency situations such as equipment failures or water leaks.
- Assisting with campus mulching efforts during the off season.
- Assisting with snow/ice removal during the off season.

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00-$40.00*
*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
