Are you passionate about empowering others through education and skill development? We are seeking an Education and Training Specialist to design, deliver, and evaluate impactful training programs. This role involves leveraging instructional design principles, eLearning tools, and innovative strategies to create engaging learning experiences for employees at all levels.
Position: Education and Training Specialist
Comp: $26-29/hr (May be negotiable for qualified candidate)
Status: Temp to Hire
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Hybrid schedule (3/2)
Key Responsibilities:
Training Program Development:
- Develop and implement educational programs, including eLearning, workshops, and blended learning initiatives.
- Create engaging content using tools like Articulate and incorporate multimedia elements to enhance learning experiences.
- Maintain an educational roadmap to ensure visibility and alignment of training activities with organizational goals.
Needs Assessment and Evaluation:
- Conduct assessments to measure the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement.
- Track and report key performance metrics to enhance the relevance and impact of training initiatives.
- Gather and analyze participant feedback to continually improve educational materials and delivery methods.
Facilitation and Delivery:
- Conduct interactive training sessions tailored to various learning preferences, including virtual and in-person formats.
- Oversee the management and utilization of a learning management system (LMS) for seamless training delivery.
- Support train-the-trainer programs and provide ongoing guidance to ensure effective implementation of training content.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay informed about trends and best practices in education, training, and instructional design to introduce innovative approaches.
- Revise and adapt training materials to reflect emerging needs and stakeholder feedback.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in education, training, instructional design, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, organizational development, education, or a related discipline (preferred).
- Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and eLearning tools (Articulate preferred).
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and design.
- Analytical mindset to evaluate learning outcomes and make data-driven decisions.
