Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily administration and maintenance of Red Hat Linux 7/8/9 servers, both on-premises and in the cloud
• Build server images that adhere to industry standards, including hardening and security compliance
• Manage service-level agreements, documentation, and policies/procedures related to Linux servers and supporting tools
• Respond to off-hours support requests and execute necessary changes as needed
• Create and manage scripts to automate system tasks using Ansible
• Assist with the design, configuration, and maintenance of the Linux server environment, leveraging Packer, Terraform, and VMware virtualization technology
• Collaborate with the team to ensure consistent standards are applied and maintained across all solutions
• Manage and maintain the VMware virtualization environment on a hyperconverged server platform
• Own and operate the company's release engineering infrastructure, including physical and virtual hardware, automation tooling, and continuous integration (CI) resources
• Audit and secure services across development, test, and production environments
• Independently coordinate with system vendors to resolve issues
• Consistently apply security best practices in all responsibilities
• Assist with internal and external audits

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of relevant experience in Red Hat Linux server administration
• Demonstrated expertise in managing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level server environments, including VMware and cloud platforms
• Solid knowledge of Centrify AD Bridge and experience in upgrading, maintaining, and troubleshooting the Delinia Server Suite
• Proficient in Ansible and shell scripting for task and process automation
• General knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, ACLs, VIPs, and VPNs
• Experience with Packer and GitLab
• Familiarity with Red Hat Satellite administration, upgrades, and maintenance
• Expertise in SSH key management and Linux security baseline management
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
