Employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, a generous 401K match, and a vacation and sick accrual schedule that can compete with any organization. Central Kentucky Ag Credit employees generally do not work weekends, evenings, and are off on 12 holidays each year.

Central Kentucky Ag Credit is part of the Farm Credit System, which is a nationwide network of cooperative lending institutions that provide credit and financially related services to farmers, ranchers and their cooperatives. With more than 100 years of agricultural lending experience, the System is the largest single producer of agricultural credit in the United States.

The cooperative structure of Central Kentucky Ag Credit allows farmer-borrowers to own and control the Association and keeps the Association committed to serving rural credit needs. This is an important feature that sets the Association apart from most other commercial lenders.

Loan Officer Trainee

This team member will be involved in all aspects of the lending process for current and prospective customers throughout central Kentucky. This position will be accountable for the promotion and delivery of sound credit to customers in the central Kentucky area. The customer base is a diversified mix of beef cattle, equine, row crop and tobacco farms. Within delegated authority, the position is responsible for managing credit quality, credit administration and portfolio performance. This position will develop new business and work in a traditional branch structure to ensure that the needs of customers and prospects are met.

Responsibilities

Actively develops new business and expands existing relationships. Proactively researches customer needs to match to bank products and services. Is visible and involved in the communities we service.

Manages the lending process for each customer from beginning to end - interviews applicants, analyzes financial and credit information, determines risk, and makes timely and accurate decisions. Communicates credit decisions to loan applicants.

Services active loans in order to retain a high level of loan quality. Reviews the progress of each loan in their portfolio, communicates periodically with loan customers, reviews and inspects collateral, and monitors each loan's status. Provides sound guidance to customers when needed.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, agriculture, economics, finance, or related field

Must possess strong analytical, judgment and communication skills

Farm background with related practical experience and/or experience with a financial institution preferred
