We are recruiting for a Lubrication Technician in the Reliability Engineering Maintenance department. This position will work within the Reliability Engineering group performing area lubrication maintenance efforts. This role will be a full-time dayshift role; however, candidates will need to be flexible to work any shift, overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed by the business. This role will report to the Senior Reliability Engineer.

Our Team

Our Savannah River Mill in Rincon, GA began operations in October 1986 and is considered a world-class operation in the industry. Five of the world's 12 largest tissue paper machines reside at the facility. Our operation is designed to produce products primarily from recycled fiber. We have over 50 converting lines that make the tissue, towel, and napkin products in our retail and away from home markets. What You Will Do

  • Engage with operations and maintenance team in your area of responsibility daily
  • Adhere to and helping drive excellence in all areas of compliance including personal safety.
  • Assign to a mill area on day-to-day basis (area of responsibility)
  • Effectively execute lubrication routes in area of responsibility by following lubrication best practice
  • Maintain auto-lube systems, including hydraulic systems, and main machine lubrication systems
  • Maintain lubrication equipment such as portable filters and dehydrators
  • Manage lubrication sampling including oil analysis reporting
  • Work with other reliability engineering team members, operations and maintenance groups supporting lubrication related issues
  • Continuously work to improve skills and knowledge of lubrication best practices

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • One (1) year of lubrication maintenance, mechanical maintenance, or operations experience in an industrial facility
  • Capability to work in a complex manufacturing facility, self-directed to perform basic lubrication tasks, and exhibit mechanical aptitude
  • Attain Machine Lubrication Technician Level 1 certification in a timely manner (6 months-year)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Five (5) or more years of industrial lubrication, mechanical maintenance, or operations experience maintaining or operating mill rotating equipment
  • Experience with lubrication maintenance technologies
  • Experience with hydraulic systems
  • MLT certifications
