The Role:

The Manager of Cost Accounting will be responsible for implementing, managing, and optimizing our ERP system, emphasizing manufacturing cost control and efficiency. This role requires extensive international collaboration to ensure aligned cost accounting practices, leverage system solutions, and support strategic decision-making processes.

The Manager of Cost Accounting will act as the financial lead for project accounting aspects of the ERP platform, ensuring project milestones and goals are met. The ideal candidate will have exceptional project cost accounting skills, detailed knowledge of ERP systems, and excellent process improvement skills. This position requires the ability to design and implement changes while gaining interdepartmental support.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement cost control strategies to monitor and reduce manufacturing costs, ensuring alignment with budgetary goals.
  

• Analyze manufacturing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
  

• Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to streamline manufacturing processes and enhance system performance.
  

• Generate and present detailed cost reports and performance metrics to senior management.
  

• Provide training and support to staff on Dynamics 365 usage and best practices.
  

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  

• Act as the financial lead for the project accounting aspects of the ERP platform, ensuring that project milestones and goals are met.
  

• Develop and maintain detailed visual maps and architecture of current processes, gathering input and providing suggestions for simplification.
  

• Strengthen cost alignment inputs to enable better decision-making and develop processes for refinements of initial estimates and updates to forecasts at completion.
  

• Develop monthly review processes to assess financial implications, determine countermeasures, and conduct postmortem reviews of large projects.
  

• Establish new best practices across ETS by partnering with internal stakeholders to drive change and assist with creating new policies and procedures.
  

• Travel of up to 25% may be required to facilitate this position
  

Required Experience

• At least 5+ years of experience in manufacturing cost accounting or a related role.
  

• A Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  

• Proficiency in ERP software (e.g., Dynamics 365) and advanced Excel skills.
  

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with international teams.
  

• Strong project costing and performance management knowledge are required.
  

• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  

• Proven working experience partnering with cross-functional business partners in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
